4. Log data
When you access our websites, our servers automatically store certain information. These server logs may contain the following information: From which URL you came to our pages, your IP address, the type of browser, the language of the browser, the date and time of your request. When using this log data, CheckChina does not draw any conclusions about the person in question, furthermore it is stored separately from personal data. The log data is collected in order to deliver content correctly, to optimize advertisements appropriately and to provide sufficient information to law enforcement authorities in case of a cyber attack.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
5. Use of Bloggerei
On all websites of CheckChina is a tracking graphic of Bloggerei.de integrated. Bloggerei is an offer from Online Marketing Consultant, Daniel Paul Töpp, Hortensienring 7, 65929 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This service enables the measurement of access numbers of individual published blog posts. By using the tracking graphics, log data as well as the IP address are transmitted to the provider of Bloggerei.
This tracking is done in the interest of measuring the number of hits and optimizing future posts. This represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
6. Comment usage
When using the comment area, the nickname, time, email, website (optional) and IP address will be saved for each published article. The storage is necessary for security reasons to be able to take appropriate measures in case of legal violations. This personal data will not be passed on unless required by law or necessary for the defense in case of legal violations.
Legal basis: The storage of comments is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time by contacting the data controller. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
7. Storage duration
Personal data of the data subject will only be stored for the period of time required to achieve the purpose of storage or as required by law. If this purpose of storage no longer applies, personal data will be deleted as a matter of routine and in accordance with legal requirements.
Comments and the associated data remain on our website as long as the commented content has not been completely deleted or the comments have been removed for legal reasons.

Automated decisions in individual cases including profiling: The data subject shall have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning him or her or significantly affects him or her in a similar way. Right to revoke a data protection consent: Every person affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European Directive and Regulation Giver to revoke his or her consent to the processing of personal data at any time. (see art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO)

9. Use of the Scalable Central Measuring Method of INFOnline GmbH
CheckChina uses the “Scalable Central Measurement Method” (SZM) of INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de) for the determination of statistical characteristic values to determine the copy probability of texts.
Anonymous measured values are collected in the process. The access count measurement uses alternatively a session cookie or a signature, which is generated from various automatically transmitted information of your browser, to recognize computer systems. IP addresses are only processed in anonymized form.
The procedure was developed in compliance with data protection laws. The sole purpose of the procedure is to determine the probability of individual texts being copied.
At no time are individual users identified. Their identity always remains protected. You will not receive any advertising via the system. The setting of cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings, existing cookies can also be deleted via the Internet browser.
Furthermore, it is possible to object to the collection of cookies by INFOnline GmbH and thus prevent data processing. To do this, the opt-out button at http://optout.ioam.de must be pressed so that an opt-out cookie is set. This cookie enables INFOnline GmBH to recognize that the data processing is not desired by the person concerned. If this cookie is deleted by the respective system, a renewed objection is necessary.

10. Use and application of YouTube
CheckChina has integrated so-called YouTube videos on its online offer. YouTube allows you to upload video content for free, view, rate and comment on this content. YouTube is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
Each time a YouTube video is embedded on a page view, the corresponding video elements are requested and downloaded by the web browser. This enables YouTube to recognize on which subpage the person concerned is located. If the person concerned is already logged in with your YouTube account, this information is collected and can be assigned. By logging out of the YouTube account before, this assignment is no longer possible.
YouTube videos can be embedded on our main page, in our news section and, through our forum users, in our discussion forum. When embedding, we use the “enhanced privacy mode” so that no additional cookies are set by YouTube.

11. Use of external CDN
To enable a very fast delivery, CheckChina uses some external central CDN services to use caching effects. This reduces single requests and saves data volume. If the respective user has already used the same web fonts or script files on another website, browser caching makes a new request to the external CDN service unnecessary. CheckChina uses the following providers to enable faster website delivery:
Google Web Fonts / Google Ajax – This online offering integrates “Google Fonts” (web fonts), “Google Ajax” (Javascript), offerings of the third-party provider Alphabet Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States, hereinafter “Google”. This requires that Google can perceive and save your IP address. We have no influence on how Google processes or stores your IP address. No cookies are set in the process. 12. Information about Google Adsense and personal advertising
CheckChina subpages may use advertising services such as Google AdSense, this is a service provided by the third party provider Alphabet Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States, hereinafter “Google”. The purpose of Google Adsense is to integrate advertising on our website. Google Adsense can use invisible graphics to evaluate the visitor traffic, furthermore cookies are stored on the user’s access device.
